One week left to claim £10k-a-month lottery prize

A west Kent-based lottery winner has only one more week to come forward to claim their prize of £10,000 a month for 30 years.

The winning ticket in the Set For Life National Lottery draw was bought in the Sevenoaks area on 24 October 2024 and the prize must be claimed by 22 April.

Lottery organisers have been raising awareness on the streets of the town in a bid to find the missing winner.

Kathy Garrett, who advises winners of the National Lottery, said the prize was "life-changing".

She said: "With just days to go, we're doing everything in our power to make sure this mystery person or syndicate comes forward, so they can enjoy the endless possibilities this prize offers."

Residents in Sevenoaks have been greeted with a giant replica of the National Lottery Set For Life winning ticket and oversized newspapers in an attempt to locate the winner.

In March lottery organisers created bespoke station signs, digital platform messages and unique PA announcements voiced by a previous winner.

A spokeswoman for National Lottery operator Allwyn said: "While the National Lottery is committed to finding the winning ticket-holder, if the prize remains unclaimed the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help projects across the UK.

"This will add to the £30m-plus raised every week to make a difference in every community across the country."
